OTTAWA - Women's rugby co-captain Charlotte Elliott and double-medalist Brendan Edge are the most recent Athletes of the Week.
The Ravens co-captain scored a try while playing a vital role in setting up two others as the Ravens beat Concordia in overtime to repeat as the RSEQ bronze medalists. What goes unmarked on the scoresheet was Elliott's defensive play which saw her poach a pair of balls from Concordia ending key drives throughout the game.
The Arnprior, Ontario, rower had another standout weekend for the Carleton Ravens claiming bronze in both individual and team events at the OUA Rowing Championships. Edge captured bronze in the Men's Lightweight Single before also landing on the podium with his teammates in the Men's Lightweight Coxed Four.
