The Carleton Ravens swim team opened their 2022 season strong placing third overall at the Boles Division Championship at Brock University.
The Ravens' men's team finished fourth while the women impressed with a second-place finish to start their season. All told, the Ravens claimed 5 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals in individual events and 2 silvers and a bronze in the relays.
Aoife McGrory broke Erica Kotler's 1995 record in the 50m breaststroke in a time of 34.01 while Dina Egorov broke her own 50m freestyle record with a time of 27.43. In the relays the 4x50m Medley and 4x50m Freestyle both reestablished program records that were set in 2021-22.
