OTTAWA - Aiden Warnholtz and Cecelia Lopez at the Ravens Athletes of the Week after helping their teams to key early season victories.
Lopez was instrumental in the women's hockey team's first win of the season Friday night scoring two beautiful goals in the first period as the Ravens upset the defending RSEQ finalists from McGill. Lopez continued their strong play on Saturday logging key minutes for the Ravens and providing a spark of energy as Carleton stunned the #1 ranked Concordia Stingers.
On the hardcourt, Ravens guard Aiden Warnholtz opened the season on a blistering pace scoring 20 points in the season opener before adding 30 in Saturday's come-from-behind win over the McMaster Marauders. Warnholtz added 13 assists and five rebounds in the two games.
