OTTAWA - Carleton Ravens forward Mohamed Bouzidi was selected by Atletico Ottawa in the second round of the CPL - U SPORTS Draft presented by Degree.
The first-year forward was fifth in the OUA in 2022 with 7 goals on just 13 shots. The science major also added one goal in the playoffs for the Ravens.
Bouzidi becomes the first Raven selected since 2021 when Cristopher Malekos, Stefan Karajovanovic and Tony Mikhael were all selected. Bouzidi also becomes the second Raven selected by Atletico following Malekos - who was selected second overall in 2021.
Bouzidi looks to follow in the footsteps of Ravens alumni Karajovanovic, Mikhael, Gabriel Bitar and Matteo DeBrienne who all played in the CPL in 2022.
