OTTAWA - Carleton Ravens hockey players Majid Kaddoura (Calgary, Alta.) and Jenna Morais (Burlington, Ont.) have been named Ravens Athlete of the Week presented by The Prescott.
With a hat trick on Wednesday night, Kaddoura became the first Ravens defenceman to score three goals in a game since Matt Stanisz in 2013. The performance and the rookie's solid play on defence have earned him this week's honour.
With a blistering shot from the right circle, Jenna Morais's first goal of the game kickstarted the Ravens' powerplay on Sunday afternoon. Minutes later, Morais would score her second goal of the game as the Ravens would score four powerplay goals in under 12 minutes.
