Three Carleton Ravens will attend the 2023 U SPORTS East-West Bowl in Hamilton, Ontario. Attending the spring classic this May are Patrick Lavoie, Louis Lavaud and Malik Yusuf.
Lavoie (Gatineau, Que.) appeared in 7 games for the Ravens in 2023 as the team's starting left tackle. The 2019 Ravens Rookie of the Year, Lavoie is a mobile tackle who leads the Ravens on and off the field with his work ethic.
Lavaud (Pierrefonds, Que.) is one of the most versatile corners in the OUA. His speed and athleticism became a key focus of offensive passing attacks while also generating a 24-yard interception.
Yusuf (Ottawa, Ont.) recorded three sacks and six tackles for loss. In 7 games, Yusuf recorded 21 tackles and recovered two fumbles.
The 2023 U SPORTS football prospects game is set for Saturday, May 13 at 1 p.m. ET at McMaster University’s Ron Joyce Field in Hamilton.
