OTTAWA - The Carleton Ravens maintained the last unblemished record in the OUA East with a decisive 5-1 win over the Laurentian Voyageurs on Sunday.
The Ravens wasted little time opening the scoring as Brady Curkovic scored his first as a Raven in just the sixth minute of play. Before the first half was over Darren Bouaziz, Luca Piccioli and Mohammed Bouzidi would all add goals for the Ravens.
Timi Aliu scored just three minutes after Bouaziz had made it 2-0, but the push back wasn't enough as Piccioli scored from the penalty spot only three minutes after that to restore the two-goal lead.
Both teams settled in the second half, with not much offence on either side until Omar Darwish scored his first of the season in the 86th minute to cement the 5-1 victory.
The 5-0 Ravens now head on the road next weekend where they'll face Nipissing and Laurentian before returning home to host RMC on September 29.
