OTTAWA - The Carleton Ravens captured nine gold medals on Sunday afternoon en route to capturing the Kandahar Trophy at the 2023 Head of the Rideau.
The Ravens impressive performance capped off their first Regatta of the season after the eights took to the water on September 9th for the return of the PD Ross Race against uOttawa. The Head of the Rideau marked redemption for both the men's and women's eight who scored a measure of revenge over the Gee-Gees after the narrow early season loss on the Canal.
Among the standouts for the Ravens on Sunday was Kendra Hurtubise. Kendra won the women's single race, her first time racing the single and then she went on to win the women's four event with her crew mates later in the day.
