OTTAWA - The Carleton Ravens women's soccer team improved to 3-0 at home on Sunday with a 3-0 win over the visiting Laurentian Voyageurs.
Despite carrying the pressure in the first half, the Ravens were unable to generate a goal as Hunter Jones made 4 saves to keep the game scoreless.
Jones and the Voyageurs couldn't keep the Ravens at bay all afternoon as Carleton broke open the scoring in the second half with three goals in a space of seven minutes. Ana Itoafa (Fredericton, NB) opened the scoring for Carleton in 62nd minute before Mikayla Moser (Ajax, Ont.) and Mia Hollingworth (Ottawa, Ont.) extended the lead for Carleton.
After posting back-to-back shutouts, Ravens keeper Chloe Lachance-Soulard gave way to rookie Ty Dukart in the 79th minute. Dukart (Newmarket, Ont.) closed out the game for the Ravens who now travel North for rematches against Nipissing and Laurentian next weekend.
