OTTAWA - The Carleton Ravens women's soccer team remains defeated at home after a convincing 5-0 victory over the RMC Paladins.
The Ravens opened the scoring quickly, after applying significant pressure early, Selena Moussa headed home a Ravens corner to open the scoring in just the 10th minute. Salena Devellis out-raced the Paladins keeper in the 39th minute to double the head heading into the half.
Carleton dominated possession throughout the afternoon pressuring the Paladins at every turn and carrying most of the possession deep in RMC territory. In the second half, Carleton's pressure broke the Paladins as Mikayla Moser scored before Quinn Snell finished emphatically from the penalty spot. With the Ravens already up four to nil, Chloe Doiron both scored to put the game away.
The Ravens are now off until next weekend when they'll face the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees at Matt Anthony Field.
