Kingston, Ont. - The Jared Chisari rushed for over 230 yards on Friday nice as the Queen's Gaels beat the Carleton Ravens 35-16.
The Ravens opened the scoring in the first quarter when Tristan Lefebvre found Tristan Ready in the endzone for a 12-yard touchdown. The play capped off an impressive 73-yard drive for the Ravens. The Gaels would tie the game in the final seconds of the quarter changing the momentum for the evening.
In the second quarter, Leo Soles capped up another 7 play, a 49-yard drive to take the lead for the Gaels. The Gaels would continue to pile on with the ground game, opening up a 22-7 lead. With a second to go in the half, Brandon Forcier would claw a few back for the Ravens making his tenth field goal of the season for a 22-10 halftime deficit.
Tyler Mullan and Forcier would exchange field goals in the third, and the Ravens would also force a safety to cut the lead to 10.
After scoring a rouge to cut the lead to nine, the Gaels pushed back adding a touchdown and another Tyler Mullan field goal to wrap up the victory.
Up next, the Ravens travel to Waterloo to face the Warriors on Saturday afternoon.
