A double dose of men's hockey highlights an important weekend in Carleton athletics.
OUA hockey returns to the ice house on Friday and Saturday night when the Carleton Ravens host Concordia and UQTR in regular season action.
It's the Ravens first weekend of regular season play and their veteran roster looks to make an immediate statement. On Friday, the Ravens rivalry with the Stingers is renewed in what promises to be a classic. Each time the Ravens and Stingers meet it's a physical battle and 2023-24 promises to be no different.
On Saturday night, the Ravens will look to get revenge on the UQTR Patriotes. Last season, it was the Patriotes who eliminated Carleton in the OUA playoffs and with a number of fourth and fifth-year players back on the ice, Carleton hasn't forgotten.

With Panda behind them, the Ravens football team is deep in a battle for an OUA playoff spot. Now in week 8 of the season, Carleton looks to get back to .500 when they face the 2-3 Gaels. Coming off a big win over RMC, the Ravens women's soccer team travel down the canal to face the Ottawa Gee-Gees in a crosstown derby. The 1:30 p.m. kickoff at Matt Anthony Field will be challenging for the Ravens as they want to prove they can continue to hang with the top teams in the OUA.
