OTTAWA - The Carleton Ravens men's soccer team enters the playoffs this week with a 10-1-1 record after splitting their final weekend on the road.
The Ravens finished the weekend with a 1-0 loss to Ontario Tech after beating Trent 2-1 on Saturday.
Despite suffering their first defeat on Sunday, the Ravens finished the regular season as the top-ranked OUA team and fourth-ranked in U SPORTS. As the OUA and OUA East's top team, Carleton will await the winner of one of Wednesday's quarterfinals. The Ravens' 31-point campaign will ensure that they retain home-field advantage throughout the OUA playoffs.
The Ravens were led throughout the regular season by Luca Piccioli. Piccioli's 15 points left him tied for second in the OUA just two points back of the top of the league.
The Ravens and the Ridgebacks secured byes in the OUA East and will await the winners of Nipissing at TMU and Toronto at Queen's. In the West, York and Brock earned byes while Guelph, McMaster, Western and Laurier will face off on Wednesday.
