Peterborough, Ont. - The Carleton Ravens rowing team continued their impressive 2023 season over the weekend claiming seven medals at the 2023 Head of the Trent Regatta in Peterborough, Ontario.
Following their victory last weekend at the Head of the Rideau, the Ravens women's four and junior women's four captured gold medals while the varsity pair of Meagan Elekes and Abby Dyer and the junior varsity men's four captured silver.
The Ravens came away with three bronze medals including two for Brendan Edge, in the varsity light men's single and varsity light men's double. Ben Koskowich and Sam Hurtbise also claimed bronze in the men's double.
On the novice side, the Carleton men's eight finished fifth out of thirteen boats in their first-ever race. On the women's side the Ravens novice eight finished sixth in a field of thirteen.
Carleton now breaks for Thanksgiving before resuming competition on October 14 at the Brock Invitational Regatta at the infamous Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Course, in St. Catharines, Ontario.
