Victoria, BC - The Carleton Ravens continued their impressive pre-season sweeping a pre-season tournament in Victoria over the weekend.
Carleton started the tournament quickly and never looked back, beating the hosts from UVic 77-66 on Friday night before beating UBCO 85-77 on Saturday and Alberta 73-68 on Sunday morning.
Kali Pocrnic averaged 22.3 points per game over the weekend while Tatyanna Burke was a Saturday afternoon rebound shy of posting three double-doubles. On Friday night, Teresa Donato had 15 points off the Ravens bench. Saturday, was all about Pocrnic's 23 points while Jacqueline Urban also finished with a double-double scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds.
On Sunday, it was Zerina Duvnjak who stepped up for the Ravens with 15 rebounds and 9 points.
Carleton's preseason continues until early November when the OUA season tips off. The Ravens' first home weekend will take place November 17 and 18, 2023. The Ravens will face Laurentian and Saint Mary's next weekend in preseason competition.
