Ravens defensively lineman Kaden Boomer (Riverview, NB) has been named to the OUA All Rookie honours.
Boomer, 6’0, appeared in all 8 regular season games for the Ravens recording his first career sack against the University of Toronto in late September.
The Team NB product made an immediate impact for the Ravens earning key minutes along side a veteran laden defensive core.
“In training camp we saw that we had a special athlete and we’re excited to see his growth throughout the year,” said head coach Corey Grant. “We excepted him to come in and compete and learn from the older guys and he exceeded those expectations by coming in and being a contributor right away getting it on defensive snaps, and also contributing on special teams.”
Grant added “we are excited to have him recognized with this honour and looking forward to him continuing to grow over the coming years.”
