Sydney, NS - Ravens men's soccer captain Raphaël Garcia has been named a U SPORTS Second Team All-Star at the awards banquet ahead of the 2023 U SPORTS Men’s Soccer Championship.
Garcia had an exceptional season for the Ravens scoring 3 goals and adding 8 assists from a defensive position. The former CPL player and 2022 U SPORTS Top 8 student-athlete adds Second Team hardware to his trophy case after being recognized for his play as a rookie in 2021.
Garcia and the Ravens play in the opening game of the U SPORTS championship on Thursday morning when they kick off against Montreal at 11:00 a.m. AT/10:00 a.m. ET on CBC digital platforms in English, and RadioCanada.ca/Sports and usports.ca in French.
