OTTAWA - Will Collins had a goal and an assist as the Carleton Ravens beat the fourth-ranked Brock Badgers 3-1 on Saturday night.
The Ottawa product, Collins already had an assist on Blake Allan's game-tying goal in the first period when he potted a Garrett Wright rebound midway through the second period to put the Ravens ahead.
The Ravens had trailed after Justin Brack potted a rebound past Mark Grametbauer (Halifax, NS).
Despite a pair of Brock power plays in the third period the Ravens would hang on, thanks in part to 24 saves from Grametbauer. With Brock on the power play late in the third Grametbauer made a beautiful sliding save to keep the Ravens ahead.
The Ravens now enter the holiday break on a three-game win streak. Carleton returns to play on January 4, 2023, when they host Ottawa.
