OTTAWA - Two more Carleton Ravens are on the pathway to the CPL after the selection of Luca Piccioli and Amadou Kone in the 2024 CPL Draft presented by Degree.
Luca Piccioli kicked off the Ravens' draft selected third overall by Atletico Ottawa. The Ottawa, Ontario, product torched the OUA in 2023 scoring nine regular-season goals including three game-winners. Piccioli took his goal scoring to another level in the playoff-leading the Carleton Ravens with three goals in three games in the OUA playoffs.
The Ravens were on the draft board again in the second round as Forge FC claimed rookie Amadou Kone. The first-year criminology student scored one goal and three assists before appearing in all three of the Ravens OUA playoff games.
Both players now look to join former Ravens Gabriel Bitar and Gatorade Fan Team of the Year player Matteo DeBrienne in the CPL in 2024.
