MONTREAL - The Carleton Ravens were unable to close any gaps in the RSEQ playoff race on Saturday night following a 7-0 loss to Concordia.
The Ravens fell behind early when Chloe Gendreau opened the scoring on the power play just 1:04 into the game. Carleton would find themselves shorthanded again 2:07 in the game and Jessymaude Drapeau would make the Ravens pay, extending the lead to 2-0 after 20.
The Stingers would add another in the first minute of the second and one midway through the second before adding their third powerplay goal of the evening with 2:51 to play in the second.
After surrendering a goal early in the third, Carleton would put the Stingers on the power play once more and they'd make good on it finishing the night four for eleven with the advantage.
Carleton's next game is Friday, January 12 when they host the McGill Martlets.
