Three Carleton Ravens have earned Athlete of the Week honours as presented by McKeen Metro Glebe. After a dominating weekend on the trail skiers Maggie McClure and Colin Ward are joined by the record-breaking Kali Pocrnic.
McClure led the Ravens women's team as captured their 15th program championship. McClure was victorious in the Classic 7.5km race and the team relay before capping off her weekend with a silver in the 15km skate on Sunday.
Leading the men's nordic ski team to their second consecutive silver medal, Colin Ward improved on an 8th place finish in the 7.5km classic to place second in the relay on Saturday afternoon before reaching the podium again with a bronze medal in the 15km skate on Sunday.
Setting an all-time program record with 40 points in Saturday's OUA quarterfinal win over McMaster, Pocrnic earned her third Athlete of the Week award. Pocrnic scored 18 points in the third quarter and 30 in the second half while adding 4 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal.
