The Carleton Ravens will be well represented at the 2024 East-West Bowl at the University of Waterloo in May. Four Ravens were named to the annual prospects game that kicks off the scouting season for the 2025 Draft. The Ravens will be represented by Nathan Clark, Xavier Malone, Angus O'Mara and Kaseem Ferdinand.
On the defensive side of the ball, Team East gets an infusion of size and talent with the addition of Ravens Clark and Malone. The 6'3" lineman from Kingsley, NB, had 9.0 tackles in 7 games including 2.0 sacks in the Ravens season finale against Guelph. Malone patrolled the middle of the field for the Ravens ranking second among linebackers with 33.0 tackles, 19 solo in 8 games.
On offence, Angus O'Mara will put his talents on display at centre. The Kingston product has been a regular in the middle of the Ravens o-line showing off an agile 6'2" and 336lbs frame.
Kanata wide receiver Kaseem Ferdinand is coming off a 900+ all-purpose yard season. With 509 yards receiving and 346 return yards, adding kick-returns to his repertoire in 2023 only furthered Ferdinand's offensive threat. Ferdinand has recorded 12 career touchdowns with 11 coming over the last two seasons.
