OTTAWA (June 5, 2024) - The Carleton Ravens basketball program will open the 2024 schedule at home with a doubleheader against the Western Mustangs. The Ravens will play 7 of their 11 home games before the holiday break, closing out 2024 with a visit from the Gee-Gees on December 4.
The 2024-25 schedule features a few notable dates including a Sunday evening contest against York on November 10.
The Carleton Ravens will host the Ottawa Gee-Gees on December 4, before the two teams meet at the 2025 Capital Hoops Classic in February. Among the best men's and women's programs in Canada over the past two decades, the Bytown Battles between these two programs have been historic, with each team picking up key victories at times in the past few seasons.
The defending back-to-back U SPORTS champions will be circled on most teams' calendars this season, but a few key dates jump off the page for the Ravens.
The women's team has had their run of contests against the Gaels in the past two seasons and the two teams will renew their rivalry twice in February. The Gaels will first visit Carleton on February 1, before the two teams meet at the ARC with no love lost on February 14.
The men's basketball team will get their only look at the OUA Finalists from Brock on November 17. The Badgers ended the Ravens' 2023-2024 season in the Nest in February.
