Kingston, Ont. (Sept. 15, 2024) - The Carleton Ravens women's golf team got their 2024 season off to a fantastic start on Sunday finishing third at the Bert Kea Queen's Invitational.
Led by the incredible performance of first-year Sanvi Swarup, the Ravens team finished just six strokes behind Laurier and ten behind Queen's in third place. Sanvi's +3 round of 77 was a fantastic start to her OUA career finishing just one stroke behind Kiley Rodrigues of Queen's.
Clare Stoney finished 10 strokes back of first in 11th place while Ravens teammate Luci Garavito was another stroke behind tied for twelfth.
On the men's side of the tournament, Ty Rouse picked up where he left off last season, shooting a +1 round of 71 in a tie for sixth place. At +4, Nick Mills also made it to the top twenty, finishing tied for fourteenth.
