The Carleton Ravens men's soccer team open the 2024 playoffs with all eyes set on repeating as OUA Champions when they host Laurentian on Saturday at 6:30 PM. Darren Bouaziz earned athlete of the week honours last weekend with a hat trick on Friday against Trent. Now, he and the Ravens will look to do damage against a Voyageurs team who is the only squad to qualify for the OUA playoffs with a losing record.

The Carleton Ravens football team will warm up the field before the soccer match on Saturday when they host the #2 ranked Laurier Golden Hawks. Laurier is first in the OUA with a perfect 7-0 record while the Ravens 2-5 are still hoping to qualify for a playoff spot. With a win and some help from York, the Ravens can still enter the OUA post-season. Quarterback Elijah Barnes enters the afternoon just 123 yards shy of 2,000 on the season, currently fourth in OUA passing.
The Ravens women's hockey team continues their season-opening four-game home stand when they welcome Guelph (#4) and Toronto (#6). Carleton is undefeated in regulation to start its OUA era and is just one point behind Ottawa for first in the OUA East. Rookie Olwen Jones is tied for second in the league with three points while Payton Miller and Hayden Serniuk are tied for third with two goals after just two games.
Carleton welcomes the Gryphons on Friday at 7:00 PM before dropping the puck with the Varsity Blues on Saturday at a special 5:00 PM start.
The Carleton Ravens women's soccer team will look advance to the second round of the OUA Playoffs when they face the Gaels Friday night at Richardson Stadium. The two teams have met twice this season sharing a 1-1 draw in September before Queen's recorded a late 1-0 decision over the Ravens a week later at Richardson Stadium. The Ravens must break an 11-game, 8-year winless streak against Queen's to advance to the second round.

Your only chance to catch the men's basketball team at home before next weekend's opening weekend comes by way of the annual House Laughton Tournament. Carleton will face York, UNB and Concordia over the weekend with doubleheaders on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be bought by day or as a tournament package.

A quiet weekend for the Carleton Ravens see them with only one game on the schedule. The Ravens travel to Thunder Bay where they'll face Lakehead. The Ravens are 2-2 despite coming off a tough loss at Concordia last Sunday. The Thunderwolves also carry a 2-2 record having split a trip through Kingston last weekend.
The preseason continues for Ravens rowing and Ravens women's basketball. The rowers look to continue their winning ways as the team heads to Boston for the Head of the Charles event. On the hardcourt, women's basketball will play two games at Queen's as part of the Tindall Invitational facing UQAM Friday afternoon and Manitoba on Saturday.
