It was a strong start to the 2024 rowing season capturing a number of medals at the 2024 Head of the Rideau Regatta at Moonie's Bay. The first meet under new head coach Meghan Jolley saw great performances from the small Ravens team, especially on the women's side.
Kendra Hurtubise opened the day for Carleton capturing second place in the women's Varsity Single before Rosie O'Brien cruised to victory in the lightweight varsity single winning by over a minute.
Carleton would take second in the mixed four before winning the men's varsity coxed 4 by over fifteen seconds. Alex Ladage's boat just missed the podium in the men's varsity double with a fourth-place finish.
The Ravens found themselves on the podium again when James Sheridan's novice boat took the men's double. The women's varsity 4 continued their strong day, winning gold by almost a full minute. The varsity doubles boat took gold by over forty seconds to wrap up the Ravens fantastic day on the water.
