OTTAWA (October 28, 2024) - Capping off a fantastic season of rowing Alex Ladage and Rosie O'Brien have been named Ravens Athletes of the Week for October 21-27, 2024.
After a dominant win in his heat, Alex Ladage (Kanata, Ont.) came home with the silver and a time of 7:18.14, finishing only four seconds behind Brock athlete and National Team Rower Stephen Harris in the Varsity Men’s Lightweight Single.
This is Alex's second win of the season.
Rosie O’Brien (Ottawa, Ont.) also won her heat of the Varsity Women’s Lightweight Single in the morning, and with a time of 8:03.14 in the final, took silver in a tight race for second place, beating Western in third by four seconds.
This is Rosie's third win of the season.
