OTTAWA - Former Carleton Ravens' standout Maya Addai has been named to Canada's roster ahead of the Premier Rugby Sevens (PR7s) All-Star Tournament in Portland this month.
The Ravens all-time leading scorer, Addai was on the Rugby Canada Selects squad that played two matches against Spain in June. A former member of the Maple Leaf Academy, Addai has been training with Rugby Canada since leaving Carleton.
A two-time RSEQ all-star, Addai broke the Ravens program scoring record midway through the 2022 season before being shutdown with a knee injury.
Addai and Canada will play the PR7s All-Stars at 1:30pm PT / 4:30pm ET (airing on RugbyPass TV at 2:30pm PT / 5:30pm ET) and the United States at 5:01pm PT / 8:01pm ET (airing live on RugbyPass TV).
