OTTAWA (Nov. 11, 2024) - The Carleton Ravens basketball teams have moved up in the U SPORTS Top 10s after wins on Sunday night. Ahead of Friday's home contests against Algoma the men's basketball team is now ranked 7th while the women improve to 6th.
The 5-0 women's team retain the third highest ELO rating and are the third highest ranked OUA team. Defensively, the Ravens continue to give opponents fits allowing a league low 7.0 assists against per game.
Shooting an OUA best 41.8% from three, the men's team moves up two spots to seventh. With a +17.6 rebound margin, the Ravens lead the OUA on the glass holding their opponents below 29 rebounds per game.
The dynamic Ravens are back in action on Friday night when they welcome the Algoma Thunderbirds to the Nest for a doubleheader that tips off at 6:00 PM. Ravens fans are encouraged to arrive at 5:50 as the women's team will receive their 2024 U SPORTS Championship rings before the game.
