OTTAWA (November 4, 2024) - Ravens basketball players Augustas Brazdeikis and Jacqueline Urban have been named Athlete of the Week for October 28 - November 3, 2024.
Leading the Ravens with 18.5 PPG over the weekend, Augustas Brazdeikis had back-to-back double-doubles scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds on Friday before racking up 15 points and 11 rebounds on Saturday night. The second year forward from Oakville, Ontario, averaged 31 minutes per game while only being charged with a single foul.
Averaging 2 steals and 12.5 points per game over the weekend, Jacqueline Urban was a catalyst for the Carleton Ravens. The third-year guard continued to be a force for the Ravens collecting a double-double on Friday with 13 rebounds and 14 points before collecting 5 rebounds and 11 points on Saturday. Urban was a complete pest on defense generating 4 steals and 1 block over the weekend.
