OTTAWA (Nov. 18, 2024) - Carleton Ravens guard Jacqueline Urban and men's hockey forward Gio Morneau have been named Athletes of the Week for November 11-17, 2024.
The third-year guard from Ancaster was sensational for the Ravens over the weekend. Urban notched back-to-back double-doubles including 21 points and 14 rebounds against the Brock Badgers on Sunday afternoon. Third in the OUA in 3PT percentage (53.3) and fourth in rebounds per game (9.6) Urban has been a force for the Ravens this season with double digit points in five of seven contests.
Rookie Gio Morneau continued his hot streak over the weekend scoring three goals and added an assist as the men's hockey team picked up a pair of wins. The Ottawa forward now has five goals and seven points during the team's three game roll. Morneau leads all rookies in the OUA with 7 goals.
