First-year Ravens defender Adam N'Goran was selected in the second-round of the 2025 CPL U SPORTS Draft by Atletico Ottawa.
N’Goran, 20, from Gatineau accounting student was a prominent member of the Ravens player in his first season with the club after featuring with Atlético Ottawa’s Ligue1 Québec affiliate OSU Atlético in 2024.
It marks the third straight season a Ravens' player has been selected in the draft by Atletico - with Amadou Kone also being selected in the 2024 draft by Forge. N'Goran now hopes to follow in the footsteps of Kone and Ottawa 2024 selection Luca Piccioli in cracking the CPL side.
Last season, four former Ravens were on CPL rosters with Piccioli playing alongside Matteo di Brienne in Ottawa, Kone finishing second with Forge, and Gabriel Bitar recording 4 goals and 2 assists for Vancouver FC.
N'Goran's selection marks the 10th time a Raven has heard their name called in the past six CPL drafts. He is also the seventh different Raven selected in the draft with Bitar and Stefan Karajovanovic both having been selected twice.
