OTTAWA (Dec. 2, 2024) - The Carleton Ravens have named Tatyanna Burke and Gio Morneau Athletes of the Week presented by z-teca Mexican Eatery for the week of November 25 to December 1.
Burke was a force for the Ravens on Saturday night as they won their tenth straight. The Winona, Ontario, guard had 18 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists in 22 minutes.
The hero of the Colonel By Classic, Gio Morneau continued his red-hot rookie season over the weekend as the Ravens picked up back-to-back wins over the Gee-Gees. Morneau had two assists on Friday night before adding two goals and an assist, including the overtime winner on Saturday at TD Place. Morneau leads all OUA rookies in goals and is 1 point behind in the OUA rookie scoring race.
