The Carleton Ravens men's hockey team are proud to announce the commitment of Carleton Place Canadians defenseman Masen Culley. The 6'0" defender from Ashton, Ontario, will join the Ravens for the 2025-26 season.
The 20-year old Culley is in his second stint with the Canadians after spending time in Victoria (BCHL) and Northeast (NAHL). Since returning to CP, Culley has 5 points and 12 penalty minutes in 9 games.
“Masen is one of the elite players in the CCHL. A high end skater with great offensive poise and IQ, Masen’s biggest asset is his competitiveness and drive to win," said CP head coach and Ravens alumni Brent Sullivan. "Carleton is adding an incredible human and great family to their program.”
A product of the Ottawa Valley Titans organization, Culley spent three seasons at Lake Forrest Academy before beginning his junior career.
"We are real excited to have Masen joining the Ravens next season," shared Ravens interim head coach Mark Cavallin. "He is a dynamic defenseman with an exceptional skill set, that is the first thing you notice about Masen. The more you watch him the more you see that is also ultra competitive."
