OTTAWA (Jan. 22, 2025) - With only a few competitions remaining the Carleton Ravens have impressed as the 2025 FISU World University Games.
Helen McCulligh finished fifth in the Sprint Team Mixed Qualifications and she and her partner Nicholas Randall finished 12th overall in the Sprint Team Mixed Final. Earlier in the games, Sophia Giangrande finished in the top 35 of the Sprint Classic competition.
On Tuesday, after finishing 9th in the 4x7.5KM Relay qualifying McCulligh and Giangrande helped Canada climb one spot in the finals and finish 8th in the team event.
The 20KM Mass start will wrap up the competition on January 23.
Monday afternoon, at 2:00 p.m. EST, coach Stacey Colarossi and team Canada play for gold when they face Czechia on FISU.tv.
