Following a successful OUA Championship weekend Carleton Ravens silver medalist Heaven-Lee Emond and OUA Curling MVP Owen Nicholls have been named Athlete of the Week presented by z-Teca Mexican Eatery.
Emond captured the OUA silver medal in the 68 kg category. Emond reached the OUA final after going 2-0 in pool competition. Emond's silver medal comes after finishing fourth in 2024 at the 62 kg weight class
Carleton skip Owen Nicholls led the Ravens to the OUA championship over the weekend while collecting the conference MVP Award. Fresh off winning a U20 provincial title, Nicholl's led the Ravens to a 4-0 record in pool play followed by a sweep of the playoffs.
