OTTAWA (March 24, 2025) — The Carleton Ravens will wrap up the 2024-2025 season on Wednesday night honouring the annual major award winners. The nominees for this year's awards represent a strong field of student-athletes, coaches and volunteers who embody the bold determination and intelligence required to wear the Ravens shield.
The award is presented to a volunteer or part-time staff member associated with one of the varsity teams who goes above and beyond the expectations of their role with the team.
Presented to the coach who has the biggest impact on the success of their team.
The winner represents the rookie student-athlete who has the biggest impact on theirteam in their first year of eligibility.
Presented annually to one female student-athlete who, through activity in Athletics, has exhibited throughout their career at Carleton University, a high and progressive standard of performance, participation and attitude, with emphasis placed on performance.

Chosen from all student-athletes who have represented Carleton University in interuniversity competition. The major criterion are the demonstration of outstanding athletic ability during the current year in Carleton's interuniversity program. In addition, contributions towards the athletic program at Carleton are considered for this award.

At a closed ceremony, the Ravens will also recognize team MVPs, Doug Banton Award and Alumni Award winners, fourth and fifth-year student-athletes, Academic All-Canadians and OUA Academic All-Stars.
