OTTAWA (Mar. 26, 2025) - The Carleton Ravens Nordic ski season wrapped up over the weekend in Canamore with the Nordiq Canada CCUNC Championships. The Ravens captured the silver medal for the women's team, while the men finished just behind the podium in fourth place.
Season-long stars Sophia Giangrande and Helen McCulligh shone the brightest, with Giangrande capturing first place in the U20 CCUNC 20 KM Classic, 2nd in the U20 CCUNC 10 KM free and fourth in the U20 CCUNC Classic Sprint. McCulligh was the team standout, finishing 3rd in the CCUNC 10 KM and 7th overall in the open category, 4th in the Classic Sprint and 3rd in the CCUNC 30 KM Mass Start.
Joining the two Ravens stars at the top of the results sheet were Raphael Guerout and Kaeden Ward, each earning top-ten performances in the 30 KM Mass Start and the sprints.
