VANCOUVER (Mar. 12, 2025) - Carleton Ravens women's basketball guard Jacqueline Urban has been named a U SPORTS Second-Team All-Canadian. The Ancaster, Ontario, product earns the honour just a week after being named to an OUA First-Team All-Star.
Urban's 189 rebound season was the fifth highest in program history. Urban is also fifth all-time in program rebounds despite being in just her third year. The 2023 Kathy Shields Award winner as national rookie of the year continues to cause problems for the opposition as a powerful guard who is not only a threat from the perimeter but can punish defences inside.
It was almost automatic that Urban would chip in a double-double a night in 2024-25 as she averaged 13.8 points and 9.4 rebounds per game while shooting 48.9%.
Urban was second on the Ravens with 277 points despite missing two games while she helped the Ravens represent Canada at the 2024 FISU 3x3 Basketball World Cup in November.
