The Carleton Ravens men's golf team has named their five-man roster ahead of the 2025 Canadian University/College Championships presented by BDO, June 2-6 in Kamloops, BC.
The Ravens will be represented at the four-round event by Ty Rouse, Dylan Rouse, Nick Mills, Josh Marcotte and Ben Webb. The event marks just the Ravens' second trip to the championship tournament.
"This group of student-athletes has surprised me in many ways," shared Ravens head coach Alison Timlin. "Their work ethic, commitment to growth, and unity as a team has been amazing to witness."
Hard work will be key for this Ravens group, who will be looking to advance to the fourth and final round at the tournament. The Ravens will need to post a top-nine team score or be within ten shots of the lead to advance to the tournament's fourth round on the sixth.
"Earlier in the season, I challenged the team to come up with a word or phrase that describes their game at its best. After some reflection, we landed on the word resilience. That adaptability and mental toughness have really defined their performance this year."Alison Timlin

Carleton is coming in off a string of local success, brothers Dylan and Ty Rouse recently delivered a strong performance at a local golf tournament and look to carry that momentum to Rivershore Golf Links.
After making significant strides this fall, senior golfer Nick Mills also looks to play a key role in the Ravens' success. "He continues to elevate his game," shared Timlin. "[Nick] has set a powerful example for his younger teammates."

The success of the Carleton Ravens' golf team and their participation in the championship would not have been possible without the support of the Carleton community. The Ravens would like to thank everyone who has and continues to support the Excellence in Golf Fund.
