Carleton Ravens women's basketball guard Miranda Navarro is one of twenty-five players invited to Mexico's selection camp for the upcoming Women's AmeriCup.
The Victoria guard has appeared in 25 regular-season games for the Ravens over her first two years. A 35% career shooter, Miranda was a part of the 2023-24 Ravens National Championship team and the 2024-25 U SPORTS silver medalists.
The ten-team tournament features the best clubs in the Americas, including the USA (#1), Canada (#7), and Brazil (#10). Currently ranked 38th, the Mexican side is in a loaded pool with Chile, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and the United States.
The FIBA Women's AmeriCup tips off in Chile on June 28, 2025, when Canada faces El Salvador. The Mexican side begins tournament play in Santiago on June 29 against the hosts.
