Burlington, Ont. – Ontario University Athletics (OUA) is set to unveil updates to OUA.tv platform, including a transition to a subscription model ahead of the 2025-26 season.
For 2025-26, regular season and postseason games in the sports of football, women’s and men’s hockey, and women’s and men’s basketball will require a subscription. All other sports and events will remain free-to-view with a registered OUA.tv account for the 2025-26 season, including any regular season, postseason, or championship games/events.
“The ability to successfully showcase more than 1,400 events each year represents an ongoing and evolving investment across the conference and its Members, and as a result, requires continued evolution in its delivery,” said Gord Grace, OUA President & CEO.
“These next steps for OUA.tv are a reflection of its continued progression and importance when it comes to delivering a high-quality product to the fans and contributing to a strong student-athlete experience overall, something the OUA and its Members always strive to achieve.”
Fans will have their choice of affordable and value-driven subscription packages to watch their favourite sports, which can bring the action to fans for as little as $0.08 per game.
Packages will be available for purchase for any type of fan, whether you want to immerse yourself in the entire sport slate (All-Access Pass: $89.99), have your sights set on a specific sport (Sport-Specific Pass: $39.99), or just want to get in on a single game (Single Game Pass: $8.99).
Fans can now officially purchase their packages for the 2025-26 season by visiting oua.tv.
Viewers will also soon have additional flexibility on how to watch games. The launch of a new OUA.tv mobile app, which will be available to download on both iOS and Android platforms prior to the start of the upcoming season, will better align with fans’ current and desired mobile consumption of the OUA.tv platform, making it easier for fans to watch the action anywhere on any of their preferred devices.
Amidst these changes, there is one constant that fans can continue to look forward to during the 2025-26 campaign and beyond.“What won’t change is the talent on display during each and every one of the OUA.tv webcasts,” continued Grace, “and we look forward to fans being able to watch the province’s elite student-athletes compete during another top-tier season of OUA action.”
