We’re days away from kickoff at the 2021 Panda Game! Fans are reminded to beat the lines by arriving early, being prepared to present proof of full vaccination, and by following local and stadium health and safety guidelines.
To help ensure you don’t miss a minute of the action, we’ve compiled everything that you need to know for the game.
Please be in your seat by 11:45 a.m. for a presentation in honour of Francis Perron, a member of the Gee-Gees football team who passed away tragically on September 18th. Please plan to arrive 60-90 minutes prior to the game as gates will be slower than usual due to the vaccination verification.
All guests 12 years and older must be fully vaccinated and provide proof that they have received their final dose at least 14 days prior to October 2. Please ensure you review the TD Place FAQ regarding what is considered “fully vaccinated”.
When scanning into the event, you will be asked to provide proof of full vaccination, government-issued identification and/or your student card; please ensure to have all items ready ahead of time. Proof of full vaccination can be provided in print form or shown through your phone. Please note, you will not be able to attend the Panda Game without proof of full vaccination.
Wearing a mask is mandatory while inside the perimeter of TD Place for all individuals (except children under 2 years of age), including open-air spaces. You must wear a mask at all times including when at your seats. Masks may be temporarily lowered when eating or drinking only. The mask must cover both the nose and mouth.
No bags, no umbrellas, no re-entry, zero tolerance for students/fans that are visibly intoxicated, attempting to bring alcohol into the facility and/or demonstrating aggressive behaviour towards staff or other guests. Those in breach of these requirements will have tickets revoked with no opportunity for refunds or re-entry.
• Wear a mask
• Isolate yourself and stay home if you’re feeling unwell
• Stay two metres apart from others
• Exercise proper hand hygiene
Social gathering limits remain in place in Ontario. In order to help keep each other safe, fans are reminded to follow provincial and municipal gathering restrictions, respect private property and be mindful of your neighbours.
Guests can text TD Place Guest Relations during events at 613-777-6759 to report any issues, ask for information or assistance, or to send a comment. Standard text messaging rates may apply.
It’s important to stay with friends you trust and look out for each other. After the game, make sure everyone gets home safe by planning a ride with OC Transpo (remember rideshare services may have reduced options or increased costs after the game).
Panda Express service will begin on Campus Avenue, in front of the Minto Centre, beginning at 10:08 a.m. Transit Supervisors will be available both pre-and post-game to assist passengers.
Event security will have ZERO TOLERANCE for students who are visibly intoxicated and/or attempting to bring alcohol into the facility. Students will have their tickets revoked with no opportunity for refunds or re-entry.
