Alex Lothian joined the Carleton Ravens in 2022 as the team's defensive coordinator. Prior to joining Carleton, Lothian was a Defensive Assistant, Camp Director and Recruiting Co-ordinator for the Saint Mary's Huskies (AUS).
A former student-athlete at the University of Ottawa, Lothian holds a Bachelor's Degree in social sciences and a BBA in Strategic Marketing from Toronto Metropolitan University.
Lothian was also previously the Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach for U18 Football Nova Scotia.
Recognized across USPORTS for his abilities, Lothian was the defensive coordinator for the 2023 East-West Bowl Game, where the East defence shut out the West 37-0. Previously, Lothian was the East Defensive Line Coach for the 2019 and 2022 games.
