Cody Caron returned to Carleton as a member of the men's hockey coaching staff ahead of the 2024-25 season. Caron played parts of five seasons with the Ravens scoring 44 points in 61 career games.
During his time as a player, Caron and the Ravens earned an OUA bronze medal, reaching the University Cup tournament in 2019. During the COVID shortened 2021-22 season, Caron would sign in the ECHL where he would go on to play parts of three seasons scoring 17 points in 77 games with Cincinnati and Utah.
A product of Sault Ste. Marie and the Soo Greyhounds Minor Hockey Association, Caron played 217 OHL games scoring 47 points while recording 336 penalty minutes with Niagara and Kingston.
