Davy Sanelus joined the Carleton Ravens men's basketball program in 2019-20. In four years and three seasons with the club Sanelus has helped the team to three consecutive national championships and a 53-5 regular season record.
Davy’s passion for coaching started as a teen with Basketball Québec in their annual summer camp. Davy later became involved with the GCBA Organization where he started as an assistant coach under the leadership of Fabienne Blizzard, and things took off from there! With the help of Fabienne, Davy got involved with Ontario Basketball as an assistant and quickly got named head coach of the U14 provincial team the following 2 years. Davy was also part of the Canada Basketball Junior Academy program for 5 years.
The passion didn't stop there. In 2014, Davy started the Evolution Basketball Program as a way to help share his knowledge and passion with both the French and English basketball communities in Ottawa. His Evolution program has been involved with 15 elementary schools in the Ottawa region as an in-school hour program and has trained over 600 kids.
