Ed Fournier was the head coach of the Carleton Ravens rowing from 2011 through the 2023 season.
Fournier is also the longtime Coach at the Ottawa Rowing Club. In 2023, Ed received the Ottawa Sports Awards Lifetime Award for contributing to community sport.
In 2014 Fournier earned the OUA's Men's Coach of the Year Award before helping to coach Canada at the 2015 Universiade in South Korea.
In his time with Carleton, Fournier has also held the position of lead rowing coach with the senior men's program at the Ottawa Rowing Club. After 35 years in the sport, Ed continues to inspire experienced and novice rowers through the program at Carleton University.
