A member of the Carleton Ravens women's basketball coaching staff since 2022-23 assisting the team to back-to-back national championships.
Before joining the coaching staff Smith was a student-athlete during the 2021-22 season. Smith came to Carleton after a successful career at Dawson College and with Appalachian State (NCAA D1) in the Sun Belt conference.
Beyond her time on the Carleton bench, Ash-Smith is the Head Coach of the Ottawa Capitals JUEL Prep team.
