With a reputation for being one of the most prolific scorers in Carleton's history, Tom Gorman holds many all time basketball scoring records which hold to this day, including points per game average for a career (22.1), points per game for a season (28.9), best field goal percentage (63.5 percent), and most points in one game (62). He was Athlete of the Year 1964-65 and a league all star in each of his three seasons. His long list of accomplishments includes leading Carleton teams to league championships in both 1964-65 and 1965-66, and being honoured as Ottawa-area ACT amateur Athlete of the Year in 1966.
