Wayne Dustin stands as the highest achieving male Nordic skier in OUA (Ontario University Athletics) history. He was the OUA Nordic Skiing Men's Overall Champion four times between 1993 and 1997. He did not lose a race in the Ontario circuit during the six years of his undergraduate and graduate career. He was three-time Carleton University Male Athlete of the Year and the Jack Vogan Graduating Athlete of the Year in 1996 – ’97. He did all of this while simultaneously coaching the Carleton University Nordic ski team. He also represented Canada and competed at the 1988 and 1992 Winter Olympic Games. He has four World Championship titles and 20 National Championship medals
